Social studies at the start of the year
Did I do background research? Yes, I did do background research. We actually had multiple days to collect research for this project. Collecting the information was fun but the best part was making the civilization.
Did I use something I shouldn't have used? No, I used everything I was allowed to use. I made sure to use all the websites and information that were allowed. I think I could have gotten more and better information but I'm happy with how the project came out.
Did I put 100% effort into this? I didn't put 100% effort into this but I did put effort in. Like I did spend 3 days just gathering information and researching for it. It was fun to make this project but I do think that I could have put more effort in, gotten more information and expanded more on my writing.
Did I like the work I did? I really like what I did with this project. It was fun gathering the information and making the images but I think the best part was writing about it because it was my own civilization. I wish I would have expanded my writing on it because I think it would turn out even better.
Did I do everything the assignment asked? I did almost everything except for the timeline. I think i might have passed over it while reading but i don't know how i missed it that much. I think with the timeline it would make the project better and would explain more of what happened to the Corian people.

Did I do background research? Yes, actually I had to go on so many websites and had to look up the meanings of words to write about if the conflict was inevitable. I really liked learning about the background of the cold war and how it started.
Did I use something I shouldn't have used? No, I used all the websites and ways to gain information as I could because mostly any way of gaining information was allowed. I went through over 14 websites which might not seem a lot but they were full of information.
Did I put 100% effort into this? I feel like it wasnt 100% effort but right below it, I think there are still ways I can improve it but I'm happy with how it turned out. I feel like if I had enough information and put as much effort as I could into this project it would be amazing.
Did I like the work I did? I really like the work I did for this project. I think that it's one of my favorite social studies projects this year. I liked learning about how the cold war started and how it got its name. I think it was interesting that a random person came up with the name and the media just stuck with it.
Did I do everything the assignment asked? Yes, I did everything the assignment asked. I had to underline important information, then write about what I thought the most important word was, then finally write about how the cold war started and answer other questions. I feel like there was still ways to expand and improve it but overall it was a blast to do.
